C. wanted a ring to go with his 18ct white gold band, but made black.

Silver is easy to oxidise and make black, but it is a surface finish, so will wear off on a ring.

So I suggested to use 18ct white gold on the outside of the ring, to match his existing ring, and make the inner parts recessed silver with was made black so it wouldn’t wear off so easily.

The inside of the ring reveals the gorgeous details of the two white metals soldered together.

A challenge to make with a wonderful result.

The ring looks wonderful!
